I just got into a huge fight with my mom. My friend has to get rid of some cats and I really love one of them, so I asked her if I could take it in, and it turned into a huge spat.

I just got so mad. She got to keep HER cat. Dad got to get HIS tabby. I can't keep a year old manx that needs a home.

it's all right. I'm feeling better now.
The stupid thing is: it's not even about Dawn (the cat). My mother was going on about how nobody in this house pays for anything. There was a time when she would take my money and use it for groceries. I don't regret it, because we're poor, but she completely ignored that fact. And she had a freak out on me when I brought up the bursary I won 3 years ago to put into singing, and spent it on groceries. I still don't have my lessons, and she hasn't paid me back.
It's not that I don't midn giving money for food, but it was the most cause of the whole fight.

Yeah, my mom's like that too. She'll go on and on about something irrelevant to the actual issue, and then she'll get mad at me if I say ANYTHING about the subject.
